Programming & Marketing Coordinator

Supports Center programming and events, and assists with marketing efforts.


Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Artistic Director and Program Managers to organize and execute Center programming, including events, concerts, workshops, festivals, etc. 

    • contribute to all aspects of event and programming execution  

    • attend as act as lead for Center and rental events

    • negotiate, create, and execute contracts with clients as needed 

    • work with Center Staff to schedule ancillary staff (bartenders, tech staff, janitorial services, set-up crew, etc.) as needed for events

    • proactively manage any issues and troubleshoot emerging problems

    • provide timely follow‐up to events as needed

    • other duties as assigned

  • Marketing efforts include:

    • website content creation and management 

    • print & digital media content creation and dissemination  

    • assistance in creation of print and digital marketing materials, signage, evaluation tools, etc. 

    • event  in ticketing platforms, updating Center website and (community) calendars, and other marketing outlets

    • other duties as assigned


Candidates should be highly organized, personable, a team player, and able to take direction as well as work independently. Experience with event planning, project management, and marketing helpful. Flexibility and a good sense of humor, a must. Must be able to lift at least 30 pounds.

  • Lifting of Heavy Objects Must be able to lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds
